Launched in 2011, Renfrewshire Pubs already boasts several hundred fans on Facebook as well as a continuing growth in visit numbers to its website. With between 150-200 pages already on the website, plus additional pages every time we add a news item, a new pub or a new event, the site is continuing to grow rapidly.
We’re now offering advertising across the website to help support its ongoing development and costs.
Who can advertise?
Our intention is to try and keep advertising limited to local Renfrewshire based businesses as much as possible. We’re therefore open to advertising requests from restaurants, cafes, tradesmen, sports clubs, hotels, B&Bs, retail stores, service providers, local clubs and so on.
We’re obviously also happy to allow Pubs and Bars to give themselves even more exposure by advertising.

Where can you advertise?
We offer 2 advertising areas on the website – Along the top, and down the side. Simple! We allow space for 3 adverts along the top and space for 3-4 adverts down the right hand side of the page.
Placement is also simple. If you buy the left most ad space along the top, you’re ad will ALWAYS appear there for the duration of your agreed advertising term. You’ll be seen on all pages, in that placement for the full month.
What do you get?
We’re happy to help you create an advert, but are equally happy to let you create it yourself. Ads can be linked through to websites or social sites, and all ads can be animated. All ads will be vetted to ensure no questionable content is included.
We’re also looking to create an “Advertisers” photo album on our Facebook page, where we’ll happily include your logo should you be able to provide one.
How long do I need to commit?
We won’t hold you to long term commitments. We allow you to advertise for 1 month at a time if that’s what suits you best. All we ask is that you let us know by the middle of the month whether you’ll be continuing next month, to give us time to organise advertising for someone else.
