While there are only two pubs in Howwood, the fact that one is one of the oldest pubs in Renfrewshire (The Boarding House – built in 1770), makes it worth a visit. It’s also home to the popular Railway Inn. Despite its relative small size Howwood is in fact very easy to get to by car, bus and train, sitting just west of Johnstone and East of Lochwinnoch.
Howwood is also home to the popular Bowfield Country Club, and various other businesses.
