A weekend of Rock n Roll and Brain Testing

For those who haven’t heard them play before, GrooveFellas are described as delivering a selection of Loud, Dirty, Mean, Raw and Vicious Rock ‘n’ Roll. With a description like that, why wouldn’t you go to see them!

We’ve had a couple of Gigs listed for the GrooveFellas guys and after chatting to them, we’re hoping to provide detail on more gigs in the near future. This weekend they are playing The Howwood Inn, Howwood … so get along and support them.

If you can’t make it along, don’t worry. They’ll also be playing The Trust Inn, Kilbarchan in March.

Not really in the mood for Rock n Roll? Then why not try one of the Pub Quiz nights that are going on this weekend. We’re still collecting information on more locations, but can tell you on good knowledge that there is a Pub Quiz in the Houston Inn tonight, and another in Harrys Bar, Renfrew, on Sunday night.

We’re also collecting information on a number of other events such as Poker, Darts, Psychic nights and karaoke nights, so if anyone knows of any coming up in Renfrewshire, that we don’t have listed on Facebook or in our Renfrewshire Events pages, drop us an email and let us know.

A Successful First Week for the Renfrewshire Pubs Website

It seems a long time ago, but actually the Renfrewshire Pubs website only went live on the Internet 8 days ago, and already it’s proving popular with pubs and locals alike.

After just 8 days, we’ve already listed over 60 pubs across Renfrewshire including Pubs in Paisley, Pubs in Johnstone, Pubs in Renfrew, Pubs in Bridge of Weir, Pubs in Houston and more.

We’ve also built up over 30 followers on Facebook. Not a huge amount, some might say, but at the rate of 3 to 4 new followers each day, we’re looking forward to seeing what that number is at in a few weeks!

Most importantly, we’ve been in communication with several pubs, with some asking us to list their establishment and others confirming that they’ll be sending event details to us for February.

We’ll continue to add pubs, bars and Inns and will continue to post news, events and offers as we find out about them, to keep you informed.
